Praise, being told you did well

Being told, out loud and specifically, what you did well.

Why people do it
Most of this app points one way — orders, consequences, degradation — and for a lot of people the thing that actually lands is the opposite one. Being told plainly that you did well, by someone whose opinion you have handed authority to, carries more than the same words from anyone else.
Smallest way in
Three specific things, said out loud at the end of an evening. Specific is the whole trick: name the moment they held still, not the fact that they were good.
What to watch
It has to be true, or it stops working permanently — invented praise is heard as management. Watch for someone who deflects every time; that is usually worth slowing down for rather than talking past.
In the planner
3 different things carry this tag, and switching it off removes every one of them. The mildest of them sits at easy.
